Nick is probably best known as a television and radio commentator and presenter
throughout the world. This year he will commentate live from all 18 rounds of the
MotoGP World Championship for the Far East (Star ESPN), Australia (Fox), Africa
(Mnet), North America (Speedvision) and many other outlets. He has also provided
reports and features for BBC World Service and BBC Radio Five Live.
Nick also commentates on football during the winter for BBC Oxford and BBC Radio
Five live and has completed many voice-overs and commentaries for companies such
as Castrol International and Duke Marketing.
Nick also hosts many international press conferences, launches and tributes. He
hosts all the press conferences during a MotoGP weekend for Dorna and this year
has hosted the Konica Minolta, Camel Honda and West Honda Pons Team launches plus
a ground breaking conference and talk show for Castrol international in China.
Nick is also a well respected journalist having written the ultimate history of
the TT races and books on World Champions Barry Sheene and Freddie Spencer. He has
edited many guides to Formula One, MotoGP and Superbikes and is a contributor to
prestigious magazines such as International Newsweek Magazine. He joined Motor Cycle
News from the Oxford Journal in 1975 and after becoming News Editor he joined Motor
Cycle Weekly as Sports Editor in 1979. He set up Nick Harris Media Communications
four years later.
His great passion is Oxford United Football Club and he was on the Board of Directors
for six years between 1994-1999.
